Apply directNot every HR role gives you the chance to genuinely influence how a business grows.
This one does.
We're partnering with a growing, operationally focused organisation that's entering an exciting phase of expansion. With new people joining the business, leaders eager for support, and plenty of opportunities to improve how things are done, they're looking for an experienced hands-on HR Manager who loves being in the business, building strong relationships, and helping leaders bring out the best in their teams.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll act as the trusted HR partner to leaders across two sites, helping them navigate growth while building a strong, engaged and high-performing workforce.
Some of your key focus areas will include:
- Coaching and supporting leaders to confidently lead their teams.
- Driving great onboarding experiences as the workforce continues to grow.
- Designing and facilitating practical leadership development programs.
- Building a sensible, fit-for-purpose approach to learning and development.
- Reviewing and improving HR processes, systems and employee experience initiatives.
- Helping managers become self-sufficient through effective use of HiBob.
- Providing advice on employment legislation, awards and compliance matters.
- Partnering with senior leaders to identify people challenges before they become people problems.
The good news? You won't be buried in payroll or recruitment administration. Dedicated payroll and talent acquisition resources are already in place, allowing you to focus on what really matters: partnering, coaching, capability building and continuous improvement.
About You
You're likely an experienced HR Manager or HR Business Partner who's known for being practical, approachable and commercially minded.
You enjoy getting out from behind the desk, talking to people, understanding what's happening across the business and helping leaders solve problems.
You'll bring:
- Experience in a standalone HR Manager or business partner role.
- Strong leadership coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence facilitating workshops and leadership development programs.
- A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation, awards and HR best practice.
- Experience working across operational or site-based environments.
- A practical mindset that focuses on solutions rather than bureaucracy.
Working Arrangement
- 6-month parental leave contract.
- Three days onsite across Kilmore (it’s closer than you think).
- Two days working from home.
If you're the kind of HR professional who loves building capability, strengthening culture and helping leaders succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
