Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to lead contract administration across major urban infrastructure packages. This role is based in central Melbourne and offers unparalleled growth and opportunity.

You’ll also mentor a junior CA and work closely with senior commercial leadership on risk and dispute strategy.

The Role
You’ll take full ownership of contract administration, including managing notices, variations, EOTs, and payment claims, while ensuring strict compliance with contractual obligations and legislation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end contract administration across allocated packages
- Manage notices, correspondence, and entitlement tracking
- Assess and negotiate variations, claims, and EOTs
- Oversee payment claims in line with Security of Payment legislation
- Identify and escalate contractual risks early
- Support reporting, forecasting, and commercial strategy
- Mentor junior team members
About You
- 10+ years’ experience in contract administration on major civil infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of standard form contracts (e.g. AS, NEC, GC21)
- Proven experience managing claims, variations, and time-related entitlements
- Solid understanding of construction programming and delay analysis
- Excellent written and commercial acumen
