About the role
The Senior Bookkeeper role is integral to maintaining high standards in bookkeeping and financial reporting. You will ensure the delivery of audit-ready client files while leading the review process for the bookkeeping team. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to bridge daily bookkeeping tasks with periodic reporting, facilitating smooth transitions to accountants and tax agents.
Key responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely bookkeeping services adhering to industry standards
- Deliver audit-ready client files and ensure quality control of work prepared by bookkeepers
- Collaborate with team members to meet service level standards outlined in the Service Level Agreement
- Handle client and team member requests professionally and collaboratively.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping with a focus on delivering high-quality financial records
- Strong capability in leading and mentoring a team, ensuring compliance with service level agreements
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliver timely financial reports.
