While the role is 1 to 1 and supporting the student with their IEP, daily safety, hygiene, BIP, staff must be comfortable working across campus
stuents will have a homebase classroom with a designatted supervisor, and
they don’t move people unless they have to.

Linden Oaks is a specialized K–12+ non-public school in Buena Park, California that partners with more than 50 school districts across Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties. It serves students who require a more specialized and supportive educational environment than their home public school district may be able to provide.

This is important for recruiters to understand: Linden Oaks is not a traditional public-school classroom environment. Students generally have more significant or complex special education needs and require a higher level of individualized educational, behavioral, communication, and/or therapeutic support.

They have ongoing staff inservices – sometimes we will get an extra 30 minutes or something around that they will always approve

They give our staff Crisis intervention training if they are on a case that warrants it

The program they use is called QBS – agency staff that are working with students in intensive behaviors will be trained in this after onboarding – this is the crisis prevention training certification similar to CPI or Right Response or SafetyCare
