An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Officer to join a Victorian State Government team supporting the delivery of key energy affordability initiatives.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting program delivery, evaluation activities, stakeholder engagement, and contract management across a range of community-focused energy assistance programs.
This position will suit a highly organised and motivated professional with experience in project coordination, program evaluation, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
You will work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders to support meaningful programs that assist Victorian communities in accessing energy affordability support.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and evaluation of energy affordability programs and initiatives.
- Assist with internal and external reporting activities, including performance and program outcomes reporting.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, briefs, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support contract management activities and ensure effective program administration.
- Contribute to community engagement activities, events, and awareness campaigns.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support culturally safe and inclusive practices in all aspects of program delivery.
- Previous experience in a Project Officer, Program Officer, Coordinator, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting project delivery, program implementation, or evaluation activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience preparing reports, project documentation, and communications for diverse audiences.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience within State Government, Local Government, community services, or not-for-profit sectors will be highly regarded.
