Job Title: Manufacturing Data & AI Engineer
Overview:
Are you passionate about transforming manufacturing operations through innovative data solutions and artificial intelligence? We’re seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Data & AI Engineer to be at the forefront of developing intelligent manufacturing systems, scalable data architectures, and AI-enabled operational tools. This pivotal role empowers you to design the foundation for data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and the deployment of next-generation autonomous vehicle production systems. Collaborate closely with manufacturing, IT, and operations teams to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Software Engineering with a focus on manufacturing data
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL development
- Extensive experience designing scalable data architectures and enterprise data warehouses on platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure
- Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, validation, and monitoring principles
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, SAP MES, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, and cloud infrastructure management
- Ability to develop Python-based data processing solutions and optimize complex queries
- Knowledge of data integration from enterprise systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES, ERP)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics supporting manufacturing or autonomous systems
- Familiarity with Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Snowflake Cortex AI, and C++
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Data Engineer or Solutions Architect
- Exposure to IoT, telemetry, robotics, or supply chain environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline; Master’s preferred
- 4–6+ years of relevant experience in data engineering within manufacturing or industrial contexts

- Location: Onsite in Foster City, CA
- Availability to start: ASAP
- Work Authorization: W2 only
- Travel: Not required
