As a senior member of the team, you will oversee complex testing projects, mentor a dedicated team, and support the smooth delivery of secure ICT solutions that uphold Australia's national interests.
- NV2 Security clearance is required.
- 12 months non-ongoing (with 6 months extension opotion) and potentail for on-going.
- Salary ranges from $102,266 - $114,988 + 15.4 % super
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with flexible arrangements, primarily based in Canberra.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, implement robust testing strategies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality assurance processes.
What you will need to succeed:
- Proven expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management across large enterprise or government ICT programs.
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies including system, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience working within Agile, DevOps, or hybrid delivery models, with proficiency in platforms like Azure DevOps, Selenium, or similar.
- Deep understanding of architectural, security, and delivery frameworks in federal government settings.
- Formal qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields (desirable).
- Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance.
- Excellent analytical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to interpret complex technical artefacts.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders.
- Resilience, adaptability, and high standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Certifications such as ISTQB (Foundation, Advanced, or Test Manager), Scrum Master, SAFe, or ITIL.
- Experience with automation and testing tools like Azure DevOps, Selenium, or similar.
