As an AOD Withdrawal Nurse, you will deliver evidence-based assessment, treatment, and monitoring for clients undertaking non-residential alcohol and other drug withdrawal. Your work will be client-centred, providing care in-home or outpatient settings, supporting clients and their families through safe withdrawal and harm minimisation practices. You will collaborate closely with medical specialists, general practitioners, community services, and other healthcare providers, offering secondary consultation and education. This dynamic role involves autonomous clinical decision-making within a team that values quality service delivery and continuous improvement. Requirements

- Registered Nurse (Division 1 or 2, medication endorsed) with AHPRA registration
- Current Working With Vulnerable People Clearance
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work autonomously in the community
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience in alcohol and drug withdrawal management
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning and communication skills
- Postgraduate qualifications in related fields
- Experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or youth AOD issues
