Staff Grade Physiotherapist – Cork

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Staff Grade Physiotherapist to join a growing physiotherapy team within a private acute hospital in Cork.

This is an opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services across a range of inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Role

  • Assess patients and develop individualised physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation plans.

  • Provide physiotherapy services across inpatient orthopaedics, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal outpatient care, respiratory medicine and surgery, and rehabilitation for older adults.

  • Work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy Manager and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver a patient-centred service.

  • Ensure all clinical practice meets professional standards, clinical governance requirements and best-practice guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to ongoing professional development.

Essential Requirements

  • BSc in Physiotherapy or an equivalent recognised qualification.

  • Current CORU registration.

  • Membership or eligibility for membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).

  • A minimum of one year of postgraduate physiotherapy experience, including inpatient orthopaedics.

  • Strong clinical assessment, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and continued professional development.

  • Flexibility to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Experience in orthopaedic/MSK outpatient physiotherapy, respiratory physiotherapy and care of older adults would be an advantage.
