Hospital Director

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading private hospital group in Indonesia. Our respected client is seeking an experienced healthcare professional for the position of Hospital Director, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall clinical, operational, financial, and commercial performance of the hospital.
• Develop and execute hospital strategies, annual business plans, budgets, and performance targets.
• Ensure high standards of patient care, service excellence, clinical quality, and patient safety.
• Lead and develop the hospital management team across medical, nursing, ancillary, finance, commercial, HR, quality, and support functions.
• Build strong relationships with specialist physicians and ensure effective physician engagement and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across hospital operations, patient experience, service development, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, licensing requirements, and internal policies.
• Maintain a hands-on leadership presence and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective day-to-day hospital operations.

Job Requirements:

• Medical degree, preferably complemented by a postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Hospital Director or equivalent senior hospital leader, preferably within a reputable private hospital group.
• Strong exposure to premium private healthcare services and patient experience.
• Solid understanding of hospital operations, clinical governance, financial management, commercial performance, and quality standards.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and engaging with specialist physicians and senior clinical stakeholders.
• Strong business and commercial acumen, with experience managing hospital budgets, revenue performance, and operational efficiency.
• Hands-on, patient-centric, and service-oriented leadership style with strong attention to operational details.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the executive presence required to engage senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
