Grants Project Specialist Duties:

Overall Responsibility:
Responsible for compliance with any federal and any state regulations or certification standards associated with clinics for the state of Rhode Island. Responsible for monitoring and compliance of newly established clinics throughout Rhode Island.
Specific Expertise:
- Minimum of a master’s degree related to behavioral or public health with 5 years of
- experience.
- Within the 5 years of experience has worked with state agencies and behavioral health agencies
- Knowledge of behavioral health services and resources on a local, state and national level;
- Ability to guide the organization in meeting and exceeding standards.

Grants Project Specialist Duties:
- Responsible for oversight and compliance to state and federal regulations and standards
- Coordinate processes and internal resources across multiple departments to ensure that the requirements are implemented, and outcomes met.
- Participates in providing collaboration and attending meetings with all those associated with implementation and ongoing monitoring
- Ensure that leadership obtains the information necessary to support the organization’s goals throughout implementation and monitoring. Prepare status reports for the Associate Director of special projects and the Director for review.
- Ensure that all program development plans and activities are executed in keeping with funding requirements and in keeping with the client's values, mission, vision, and strategy for the implementation
- Evaluate the clinic effectiveness; identify successful and unsuccessful clinic relationships and engage in proactive problem-solving to reduce barriers impacting the successful outcomes in coordination with organizational leaders.
