Under minimal supervision, the Sr HRIS Analyst - UKG ensures the Timekeeping / Workforce Management (WFM), Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, and other Human Resources information tools are developed, implemented, updated and maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide techno-functional expertise to the product team, by analyzing and guiding the design, configurating, testing, debugging, and implementing new features, workflows, and/or extensions of existing functionality within the product's limitations.
- Configure and manage employee profiles, pay rules, accrual profiles, etc.
- Create and maintain UKG workflows, configurations, and reporting to align with HRIS/WFM and organizational objectives.
- Monitor recurring data feeds between timekeeping and other systems.
- Ensure planned system enhancements are tested and implemented.
- Collaborate closely with the product owner and stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to the product roadmap.
- Design and generate reports and analytics to support HR decision-making and business insights; create metrics and dashboards based on user requirements that measure key workforce trends and performance.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulation and company policy regarding data handling and reporting.
- Analyze and document current WFM, HR, Timekeeping, and Scheduling functionality.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to UKG Pro timekeeping business processes and configurations, including user guides and training materials.
- Support the continuous improvement of WFM/HRIS processes, including the implementation of new technologies, software, or methodologies to improve employee and customer experiences.
- Find opportunities for optimization by moving functionalities from external systems into UKG Pro Timekeeping.
- Coordinate with other business areas on new initiatives and WFM/HRIS opportunities as related to UKG.
- Work with vendors on recurring and project WFM systems work.
- Train team members and end-users on system functionalities.
- Mentor, coach, and train other HRIS team members on UKG Pro.
- Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies to ensure the organization is using the most effective systems for timekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned
- This position requires a minimum of five years progressive experience in HRIS and Workforce Management (WFM), including prior experience in Human Capital Management (HCM).
- Experience and prior training with UKG Pro Timekeeping is required, and have completed at least one full implementation of UKG Pro Timekeeping, and integration with Scheduling and Workday or UKG Pro Payroll.
- Experience in Design, create, and modify of UKG Pro business processes.
- Ability to create complex reports with UKG Pro timekeeping reporting tools and/or UKG Pro WFM Data Hub is required.
- Familiarity with UKG Scheduling is highly desirable.
- Good working experience of UKG Pro security model as needed.
- Functional, and techno-functional subject matter expertise in UKG Timekeeping, and Workday Payroll and Zebra Scheduling is a big plus.
- Exposure to TOGAF and BOST methodology is a great plus.
- Experience working in developing test automation using Selenium or similar tools is a great plus.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of multiple software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies is essential.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Visio required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex issues, analyze information, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization are essential, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Able to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for diverse audience.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines accurately, and maintain a professional demeanor while working independently is crucial.
- Exceptional customer service skills are required, including the ability to manage and respond effectively to various customer situations while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to take calculated risks.
- Adaptability to changing requirements is essential.
- Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect, and upholding company values are fundamental expectations.
- This position requires a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Industrial Engineering or related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree is beneficial.
