Apply directOur client is a well-established timber manufacturer with a busy production site in Bathurst. They’re looking for experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitters to join their permanent maintenance team, keeping plant and equipment running safely and reliably.
Perks:

- $50–$55 per hour, based on experience, plus shift penalties and super
- Monday to Friday roster, rotating weekly between day and afternoon shifts

About the role:
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on fixed plant
- Diagnose mechanical faults and respond to breakdowns
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Help reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Assist with plant upgrades and new equipment installations
- Work closely with production staff and other trades to keep the site running safely
About you:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, or equivalent
- Strong hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience maintaining equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Confident with fault finding and breakdown repairs
- Current driver’s licence
- Able to work rotating day and afternoon shifts
