Site Manager (Construction)

Our client is one of Australia's leading construction companies with a diverse portfolio of projects valued to to $40m, and a strong pipeline of upcoming work over the coming years.

With recently awarded projects located across Sydney, they are looking to appoint a Site Manager in to start immediately. 

Roles & responsibilities:

• Effective onsite management of all site resources including subcontractors, trades, staff and equipment
• Delivery of projects safely, efficiently and effectively through meeting the project success criteria’s of stakeholder relationships, time, cost, quality, safety and process compliance
• Lead, manage and mentor team members to achieve their full potential and ensure behaviours are aligned with company values
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
• Supervise and coordinate all site activities including labour
• Ensure effective planning and communication of all activities

Desired experience:

• Trade background 
• Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential 
• Experience working on new build projects $15m +
• Proven experience as a General Foreman / Site Manager working on construction projects in Sydney
• Proven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety
