We're looking for a Payroll Officer to help deliver accurate and timely payroll services while supporting a range of payroll administration activities in a team of 6 reporting to the Payroll Supervisor. This is an office based role initially, providing the opportunity to work closely with the Finance team and gain a strong understanding of payroll operations. Following the successful completion of a six month probation period, a hybrid working arrangement will be available.
What you'll do:
✔ Process end-to-end weekly payrolls weekly ✔ Maintain employee records and payroll data ✔ Respond to payroll queries and manage the payroll inbox ✔ Assist with superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and reporting ✔ Support payroll system maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll bring:
✔ 2–3 years' payroll experience ✔ Strong knowledge of Awards and Enterprise Agreements ✔ High attention to detail and confidentiality ✔ Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
