Senior Electrical Engineer

An excellent opportunity for a Senior or Associate Electrical Engineer to join a well-established building services consultancy with a strong reputation across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to step into a leadership position, take ownership of projects and client relationships, and play a key role in mentoring junior engineers within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services projects across multiple sectors.
• Design and oversee electrical systems including: Lighting and power, Communications and security, Emergency and backup systems, Energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.
• Manage projects from concept design through to construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections, commissioning activities, and technical reviews.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and drafters.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and industry best practices.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience within electrical building services consulting.
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering commercial, residential, education, healthcare, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Ability to lead projects and manage client relationships confidently.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit exposure/experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
