Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Insight
- Help shape and execute digital innovation strategy for platforms and client experience
- Spot innovation opportunities tied to business goals, industry trends, and client needs
- Advise senior stakeholders on digital transformation and emerging tech
- Research markets, competitors, and trends (fintech, asset management, adjacent sectors)
- Translate trends (AI, Web3, tokenisation, digital wealth platforms) into business implications
- Build data-backed innovation proposals and recommendations
Digital Experience
- Improve digital experience across client/consultant touchpoints
- Design future-state, personalised, scalable digital journeys
- Ensure initiatives deliver measurable value (engagement, efficiency, satisfaction)
User Research
- Lead research (interviews, journey mapping, usability testing)
- Convert insights into problem statements and experience improvements
- Evaluate emerging tech (AI assistants, personalisation, analytics) for UX/decision-making
- Champion user-centric design
Execution
- Collaborate with product, tech, UX, data, and ops teams to build and launch ideas
- Support POCs, pilots, and iterative refinement of solutions
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to innovation specialists and project teams, where required.
- Ensure solutions are responsible, scalable, and compliant with governance and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or professional qualification in FinTech, Innovation Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Digital Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in digital innovation strategy, digital transformation, digital business, or related fields.
- Proven experience in driving or contributing to innovation initiatives across digital products, services, or platforms.
- Exposure to financial services or asset management is strongly preferred.
Technical / Functional Expertise
- Experience in digital innovation strategy, digital transformation, digital business, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of digital wealth platforms, intelligent assistants, personalisation, and analytics.
- Experience in market research, benchmarking, trend analysis, and developing data-driven innovation recommendations.
- Experience in digital experience improvement, user research, journey design, scalable service models, and user-centric design.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver pilots, proof of concepts, digital solutions, and compliant innovation initiatives.
Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies
- Demonstrates a strong interest in technology, fintech, and innovation, with the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior innovation specialists and project teams.
