Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you’ll support a fortnightly payroll of approximately 250 employees in a 24/7 operating environment. The role is hands‑on and suited to someone confident managing complex payrolls.
Key responsibilities include:
- End‑to‑end payroll processing
- Manual payroll calculations including shifts, penalties, overtime and back pays
- Managing high‑volume timesheet exceptions
- Interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Payroll reporting, reconciliations and compliance support
- Building strong relationships with line managers
- Proven payroll experience within complex environment
- Confident supporting varied shift patterns and/or 24/7 operations
- Strong manual payroll calculation capability
- Intermediate Excel skills (SUMIFS, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
- Confident communicator who enjoys partnering with the business
- UKG Workforce Ready experience highly desirable
