This role combines Agile leadership, stakeholder engagement, delivery management, and continuous improvement to ensure program outcomes are achieved efficiently and effectively.
The Opportunity
As the Iteration Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading Agile delivery across one or more teams, ensuring alignment to program objectives while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. You'll work closely with Product Owners, technical teams, business stakeholders, and program leadership to remove impediments, manage risks, and drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Guide cross-functional teams in the practical application of Agile principles and frameworks.
- Drive delivery outcomes, ensuring teams remain aligned to project goals, milestones, and program objectives.
- Manage team capacity, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain delivery plans, tracking progress and reporting on key milestones.
- Identify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery impediments.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs, prioritise work, and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication across all levels.
- Champion continuous improvement and cultivate a positive Agile culture.

- Extensive experience as an Iteration Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Project Manager.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale ICT transformation or business technology programs.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
- Demonstrated success leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Experience facilitating backlog refinement and working closely with Product Owners.
- Strong risk, dependency, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience using Agile delivery tools such as Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- The ability to work effectively in complex, fast-paced environments.
- 5+ years' experience in Agile delivery, project management, or related disciplines.
- Experience delivering business-led ICT programs comprising multiple projects.
- Agile certifications such as:
- SAFe Agilist
- PMI-ACP
- Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
