We are seeking an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist to join a purpose-driven, not-for-profit aged care organisation in WA. You’ll work in partnership with residents to develop and deliver person-centred therapeutic programs that promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

About the role As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll play an important role in supporting residents to achieve their individual goals and maintain their independence, function and wellbeing.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assess and deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services to residents
• Develop and deliver person-centred therapeutic and activity programs
• Provide leadership and guidance to support staff delivering activity and therapy programs
• Work collaboratively with the care team to enhance resident wellbeing and outcomes
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement across allied health and residential services
• Ensure compliance with Allied Health, Workplace Health & Safety policies and safe work practices
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and the broader multidisciplinary team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with older people, ideally within aged care or a similar setting
• A strong commitment to person-centred care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic program development skills
• A genuine passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of older people
• National police clearance 
• NDIS check
