Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assess and deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services to residents
- Develop and deliver person-centred therapeutic and activity programs
- Provide leadership and guidance to support staff delivering activity and therapy programs
- Work collaboratively with the care team to enhance resident wellbeing and outcomes
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement across allied health and residential services
- Ensure compliance with Allied Health, Workplace Health & Safety policies and safe work practices
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and the broader multidisciplinary team
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with older people, ideally within aged care or a similar setting
- A strong commitment to person-centred care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic program development skills
- A genuine passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of older people
- National police clearance
