Senior Chartering Manager (Chemicals)

Angle Recruitment has been exclusively appointed to search for a Senior Chartering with extensive experience in chemical tanker chartering. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role within a growing international shipowner and operator expanding its presence in the U.S. market.

The Role as Senior Chartering Manager, you will lead the company’s regional commercial expansion by establishing and developing a new office while driving chartering performance and market growth. The role will focus on IMO Type 1 & 2 vessels and requires strong market knowledge, commercial acumen, and established industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead chartering activities for the chemical tanker fleet, ensuring optimal vessel employment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with charterers, brokers, and key industry stakeholders
• Oversee commercial operations to maximise efficiency and profitability
• Establish and grow the new regional office, creating a strong market presence
• Develop and execute commercial strategies to support long-term business growth

Requirements

• Proven experience in chemical tanker chartering
• Strong knowledge of IMO Type 1 & 2 vessels
• Established network within the chemical tanker market
• Experience setting up or growing regional commercial operations preferred
• Strong commercial mindset and strategic vision
