Location: North Royalton, OH
Responsibilities:
- Inspects for dimensional accuracy and surface defects by reading blueprints and using calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.
- Perform visual and accurate dimensional inspections on parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure conformance with standards and requirements.
- Complete inspection records and reports and record data accordingly and accurately.
- Identify and report non-conformances. Follow non-conformance procedure and document acceptance after re-work or other approved repairs.
- Ideal candidate(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.
- Maintain production efficiency levels.
- Communicate, support, and reinforce the values of the organization professionally.
- Work in a team environment and be supportive of all company initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience
- Machining / plastic injection molding experience highly desired.
- Intermediate level technical ability. Expertise in ERP, Microsoft Windows, and Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of employees.
- Must have the ability to read blueprints and use all types of gages and measuring equipment.
- High school degree or GED
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening
Shift: 2 nd (Monday through Friday 3 pm to 1130 pm) (OT as neeed)
