 Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:55 PM–10:55 PM
 Pay: $25.96 per hour + $2.50/hour 2nd Shift Premium

Job Summary

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking to put your setup, troubleshooting, and machining skills to work? We're seeking a CNC Twin Turret Lathe Machinist with proven experience setting up, troubleshooting, and operating Twin Turret Lathe machining centers. In this role, you'll be responsible for producing quality parts to established specifications and production rates while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and workplace organization.

What You'll Be Doing

As a CNC Twin Turret Lathe Machinist, your core responsibilities will include:
-Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate Twin Turret Lathe machining centers to complete daily work orders, including mounting, installing, aligning, and securing tools, fixtures, attachments, and workpieces using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
-Programming & Technical Skills: Read and interpret component prints and drawings, perform average to complicated arithmetic calculations, understand Okuma G Codes, and use machining knowledge to resolve technical problems.
-Quality Control: Perform first-piece and hourly inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet established quality standards.
-In addition, you will also be expected to troubleshoot machining issues, perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules, maintain 5S and workplace organization standards, and consistently produce parts at established production rates.

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of CNC Machinist experience
  • Proven experience setting up, troubleshooting, and operating Twin Turret Lathe machining centers
  • Trade school degree preferred
  • Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring devices
  • Working knowledge of Okuma G Codes
  • Ability to read and interpret component prints and technical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance requirements for Twin Turret Lathe equipment
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bending and stooping
