THE ROLE:
We are recruiting two Production & Supply Schedulers, one based in Comber and one in Coleraine, both reporting into the Senior Production & Supply Scheduler. These are site-based roles with occasional inter-site travel required.
You will be responsible for planning and generating production schedules across designated value streams, coordinating materials, managing inventory levels and ensuring on-time delivery to meet customer demand. Working closely with manufacturing production management, supervisors, line leads, procurement and the wider supply planning team, you will play a key role in optimising production efficiency and supporting the day-to-day operational delivery of the facility.
You will also be responsible for ordering and expediting finished goods from external suppliers, managing intercompany orders, reporting on supply planning KPIs and supporting continuous improvement projects across the business.
THE PERSON:
To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in production/coordination scheduling using a dedicated scheduling application (not Excel alone)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Logical, numerical mindset with strong analytical ability
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working cross-functionally across manufacturing, warehousing, procurement and customer services
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Flexible and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset
The following are desirable but not essential:
- Experience with Sage X3
- Formal supply chain qualification
- Familiarity with lean Six Sigma or 5S methodologies
THE PACKAGE:
- Base Salary: £33,000
- Annual bonus: 5%
