Recruitment Consultant – Peterborough

Are you an experienced recruiter who thrives on building relationships, winning new business and delivering results?

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Peterborough branch. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a busy Industrial recruitment desk, build strong client partnerships and develop your career with an established and successful recruitment business.

What you’ll be doing

No two days in recruitment are the same! You’ll be responsible for:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the Industrial sector
• Building strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
• Sourcing, attracting and placing high-quality candidates
• Managing the full recruitment process from initial enquiry through to successful placement
• Growing your desk and identifying opportunities to increase revenue
• Representing and developing the Barker Ross brand within the local market

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident and passionate about recruitment. You’ll ideally have:

• A minimum of one year’s recruitment experience
• Experience within temporary Industrial recruitment
• A proven track record of developing new business and building client relationships
• A proactive, results-driven approach with the ambition to grow your desk
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The motivation and passion to develop your recruitment career further
• A full UK driving licence
