Media Platform Engineer

Our client is looking for a technically capable Media Platform Engineer to join their growing Content Management team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a modern cloud-based Production Asset Management (PAM) platform, supporting media workflows from production through post-production while helping shape the future of a highly collaborative and technology-driven environment.

You'll work closely with production, editorial and post-production teams, maintaining and improving media workflows, developing Python-based integrations, optimising AWS cloud infrastructure, and providing technical support across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise media workflows across the PAM environment
• Maintain and develop Python-based workflow automation
• Monitor cloud storage and compute performance within AWS
• Support media ingest, metadata management and cloud asset retrieval
• Provide first-line technical support to internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation and system performance
• Help maintain secure, scalable and efficient media platforms

We're looking for someone with

• Experience within media asset management, production technology or similar environments
• Python scripting knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies
• Knowledge of media workflows, codecs and production environments
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and a desire to continuously improve systems
