Transactional PSL | 4+ PQE | Cayman

With several offshore firms continuing to grow their transactional practices, I’m currently working with leading Cayman firms on strengthening their practices with Professional Support Lawyers across Corporate, Banking & Finance and Regulatory.

These are excellent opportunities for experienced transactional lawyers (or existing PSL’s) who are interested in moving into a role focused on technical know-how, knowledge management and legal innovation, while remaining closely connected to sophisticated transactional work.

The role will focus on:

  • Drafting and maintaining precedents, practice notes and legal guides
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and producing briefings and updates
  • Supporting knowledge management and process improvement across the practice
  • Developing and delivering internal training
  • Working on AI, legal technology and document automation initiatives
  • Supporting wider legal innovation and continuous improvement projects

The ideal candidate:

  • Transactional fee earner with a minimum of 4PQE
  • Previous PSL experience is preferred but not essential
  • Experience gained within a leading onshore or offshore firm
  • Strong Banking & Finance, Corporate or Regulatory experience
  • Qualified in a Common Law jurisdiction
  • Excellent technical drafting and analytical skills
  • Genuine interest in KM, legal tech and AI

These roles would suit an experienced PSL, or a strong transactional fee earner looking to move into a knowledge-focused role whilst continuing to work closely with high-level legal matters.
