Hospitality is a people industry, this company offers exceptional venues, built by exceptional teams.

This role goes well beyond traditional HR. It requires a hospitality specialist who understands the operational demands of the industry, can navigate the complexities of awards, labour agreements and sponsorships, and is equally comfortable partnering with senior leaders as they are supporting venue teams on the ground.
Reporting directly to the executive team, the People & Culture Manager will play a critical role in shaping workforce strategy, strengthening leadership capability, maintaining best-practice compliance, and building the foundations required to support continued growth.

  • Leading all People & Culture initiatives across a multi-venue hospitality operation
  • Acting as the trusted advisor to senior leadership and venue management teams on all people-related matters
  • Managing employee relations, industrial relations, Fair Work compliance and workplace investigations
  • Overseeing Hospitality Industry Awards, labour agreements, sponsorship programs and migration compliance requirements
  • Driving talent acquisition, workforce planning, onboarding and retention strategies
  • Designing and delivering leadership development and learning initiatives across all levels of the business
  • Building scalable people systems, policies and frameworks that support both operational excellence and future growth
You will bring;
  • Significant experience in a People & Culture or HR leadership role within hospitality
  • Deep knowledge of hospitality awards, labour agreements, sponsorship pathways, ER/IR and employment legislation
  • Proven experience managing sponsored workforces and associated compliance obligations
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance operational realities with best-practice people outcomes
  • A highly organised, structured and proactive approach
  • The confidence to influence stakeholders across all levels of a business
