Reinsurance offers a unique perspective on claims, giving you insight into how decisions are made at a higher level and across multiple markets. This isn’t a route that’s often open to many claims professionals in Australia, so this is your chance to gain that rare experience.

You’ll be working with an approachable and highly capable leader who will support you throughout the 3-month contract. You’ll also be part of a small, friendly team that values collaboration and knowledge sharing.

What you’ll do

You’ll manage day-to-day claims activity across the Australia and New Zealand markets, giving you hands-on exposure to Group claims (IP and TPD).

Assessing referrals from cedents will sharpen your decision-making skills, while handling a variety of claim types will keep your expertise broad and relevant. You’ll be working with a global reinsurer, which adds a layer of prestige to your experience and opens doors for future career moves.

What you’ll need

• Prior experience assessing claims (Group or Retail)
• Exposure to reinsurance would be advantageous (but not essential)
