Hydrovac Driver / Operator

This role involves operating hydrovac and vacuum excavation trucks to safely expose underground services including water, gas, power, and fibre networks. You’ll also assist with site set-up, spotting, and general labouring duties to support the wider team when needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience operating hydrovac / vacuum excavation equipment
• Minimum Class 2 or 4 licence required
• W, T, R and D endorsements highly regarded
• Experience working around underground utilities and services
• Physically fit and willing to help out on the ground when required
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices
• Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating hydrovac / vacuum excavation trucks to safely expose underground services
• Locating and exposing water, gas, power, and fibre infrastructure without damage
• Assisting with site set-up and pack-down
• Spotting and supporting excavation work on site
• General labouring duties as required to support the wider crew
• Working alongside a civil team to deliver projects safely and efficiently
