Are you an analytical, hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing quality control? Core Personnel Staffing Services is immediately seeking a highly motivated, bilingual Quality Floor Supervisor to join a premier, fast-paced industrial services provider.
In this vital leadership role, you will own the coordination of assembly and inspection jobs, ensure absolute compliance with top-tier international quality standards, and directly manage, mentor, and train a team of inspectors on the shop floor.
Your Daily Impact (Key Responsibilities):
As the Quality Floor Supervisor, you are the bridge between customer specifications and flawless production output:
Floor Coordination: Manage the strategic setup, material flow, and daily coordination of all shop floor assembly and inspection jobs.
Team Leadership & Training: Directly supervise, train, and develop inspectors. Ensure your crew is fully certified on Standardized Work Instructions.
Process Auditing: Perform mandatory Layered Process Audits (LPA) and process validations to keep production standards sharp.
Technical Quality Control: Evaluate, write, and modify Standardized Work Instructions. Read and interpret engineering prints and non-technical quality blueprints.
Material Compliance: Oversee quality operating procedures regarding the safe containment and documentation of reject, non-conforming, and scrap materials.
Customer Liaison & Reporting: Serve as the direct liaison for customers on assigned projects. Coordinate floor data entry and generate detailed activity reports.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Language Proficiency: Must be fully Bilingual (English and Spanish) with excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
Experience Baseline: Minimum of 2+ years of direct experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment with a heavy concentration in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word). Strong background in blueprint/print reading, utilizing calibration tools, scrap analysis, and reporting data.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; some college is preferred. An Industrial Engineering background or technical certification is a huge plus!
Aptitude: Exceptional problem-solving skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and the natural ability to lead teams to success.
Physical Stamina & Safety Environment:
This is an active floor leadership role requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials throughout the shift.
Environment can be fast-paced. Safety gear (PPE) is strictly required for eye, hearing, electrical, and non-hazardous chemical safety protocols depending on the specific job assignment.
