Techforce is partnering with a well-established electrical engineering and manufacturing business delivering specialist power distribution solutions across the mining and heavy industrial sectors.
We are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to take a hands-on technical leadership role across the engineering and design function. This opportunity could suit an existing Engineering Manager, or equally a Senior / Lead Electrical Engineer ready to step into broader team leadership.
We are particularly interested in engineers who have built their career within the HV/LV, switchboard, MCC, switchroom or packaged power systems market.

For an experienced Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer looking for the next step into management, this role offers the opportunity to lead people without moving away from the technical work.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and designers.
- Provide technical leadership across HV/LV electrical systems, switchboards, MCCs and associated power distribution equipment.
- Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
- Support engineering delivery from design through procurement, manufacture, FAT and commissioning.
- Work closely with workshop, project and production teams to resolve technical and delivery issues.
- Drive engineering standards, quality, safety and continuous improvement.
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer.
- Registered with Engineers Australia.
- Direct experience within the HV/LV, switchboard, MCC, switchroom or electrical manufacturing industry.
- An electrical trade background followed by formal engineering qualifications would be highly regarded.
