Senior Architect

Design & Build are partnering with an internationally recognised architectural studio located south of Brisbane's CBD - seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join this firm to play a key role across a diverse portfolio to contribute and deliver award-winning work across multi-residential, mixed-use and commercial projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity an architect that loves collaborative, design-focused projects that connect people with nature, while enjoying the benefits of a close-knit, supportive team environment. As a senior member of the studio, you will help shape project direction, mentor emerging architects, and contribute to the ongoing growth and culture of the practice.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate multi-residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects through all project stages.
  • Develop and communicate strong design concepts aligned with project briefs and client aspirations.
  • Manage consultant coordination and project documentation.
  • Oversee planning approvals, design development, and contract documentation.
  • Review project programmes, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor and support junior architects and graduate team members.
About You
  • Registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale multi-residential and/or commercial projects.
  • Strong design sensibility combined with an interest in sustainability 
  • Excellent knowledge of Australian building regulations and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Revit and contemporary design software
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of design and documentation quality.
