Position Overview
The Senior Director of Enterprise Infrastructure and Cybersecurity will provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization’s infrastructure, information security, network, cloud, end-user technology, and technical support functions. This leader will establish the long-term direction for enterprise technology operations while ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
The position requires an executive-level technology leader who can balance strategic planning with operational execution. The Senior Director will work closely with company leadership and business stakeholders to modernize the technology environment, strengthen cybersecurity controls, improve service delivery, and support continued organizational growth across multiple locations and digital channels.

KEY LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and execute a long-range infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology operations roadmap that supports business growth, organizational scalability, and modernization initiatives.
  • Provide leadership across enterprise networking, cloud platforms, servers, data centers, telecommunications, endpoint technology, identity management, and end-user computing.
  • Direct the ongoing modernization and optimization of infrastructure systems to improve performance, availability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish cybersecurity priorities, controls, and risk-management practices that protect company systems, customer information, business data, and technology assets.
  • Develop governance practices aligned with applicable security, privacy, and regulatory standards, including PCI DSS, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Oversee service desk and technical support operations, ensuring employees receive responsive, consistent, and measurable technology support.
  • Partner with technology leaders and operational teams to maintain reliable daily system performance while advancing strategic programs and major technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leaders across finance, operations, merchandising, digital commerce, facilities, store development, and other business functions to identify and deliver practical technology solutions.
  • Advise executive leadership on infrastructure risk, cybersecurity exposure, technology investments, operational dependencies, and emerging technology considerations.
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear business impacts, recommendations, priorities, and financial considerations for nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Lead enterprise business continuity, disaster recovery, incident preparedness, and infrastructure resiliency programs.
  • Develop recovery objectives, response procedures, testing schedules, escalation protocols, and remediation plans for critical systems and services.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing technology professionals while creating a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, innovation, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Define performance expectations, operating metrics, service-level objectives, and departmental priorities across infrastructure and security teams.
  • Evaluate technology vendors, consultants, software providers, and managed-service partners based on performance, strategic value, cost, security, and scalability.
  • Lead contract negotiations and maintain vendor relationships that support long-term technology objectives and responsible financial management.
  • Prepare and manage infrastructure and cybersecurity budgets, capital plans, forecasts, resource requirements, and investment recommendations.
  • Implement project governance and reporting practices that improve visibility into timelines, costs, risks, dependencies, and expected business outcomes.
  • Promote organizational values and leadership standards through sound judgment, ethical decision-making, effective communication, and consistent execution.

Required Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Ten or more years of progressively responsible information technology experience, including at least five years leading infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, cloud, or enterprise technology operations at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise technology strategies tied to measurable operational or business results.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture, network operations, cloud computing, cybersecurity risk, IT governance, disaster recovery, and service management.
  • Experience supporting cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or comparable enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, technology modernization programs, or digital transformation efforts.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, technology contracts, project portfolios, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leaders, technical professionals, business partners, and external service providers.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence decisions and build alignment across a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to travel periodically, up to approximately 15%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, ITIL, or another relevant technology or security credential.
  • Technology leadership in retail, consumer, distribution, hospitality, or other multi-location business environment.
  • Experience supporting organizations with , e-commerce capabilities, physical locations, centralized corporate operations and customer-facing technology.
  • Demonstrated success balancing long-term strategic planning with immediate operational priorities.
  • Advanced vendor-management, negotiation, financial-planning, and technology-governance capabilities.
