Public Sector People are currently partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Asset Engineer (Roads and Footpath)
Contract length: Initial 3 months with view to extend
Pay rate: $60 - $70 p/h + Super

- Investigate service requests from the public and determine an appropriate course of action.
- Provide a formal response to customers regarding the course of action to their service request.
- Monitor reactive maintenance requests to ensure that they are allocated to the relevant work teams/ contractors and completed to the specified standards within the required timeframes.
Essential Requirements:
- TAFE Certificate in Civil Engineering or a related field or nearing completion of such qualification or experience in civil infrastructure maintenance and construction.
- Knowledge of Local Government engineering operations.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in road and footpath maintenance
