Senior Data Analyst - Reporting Strategy & Insights

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst who can do far more than produce reports.

This position will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the organisation's reporting direction, ensuring stakeholders have access to meaningful, actionable, and business-focused insights.

You will partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and technical teams to establish reporting frameworks, develop KPI methodologies, and deliver high-impact dashboards that drive strategic decision-making.

The role will also be heavily involved in business intelligence transformation initiatives, including the migration and optimisation of reporting capabilities between Tableau and Power BI.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Performance Reporting roles
• Ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience setting reporting direction and influencing enterprise reporting strategies
• Proven experience delivering Tableau-to-Power BI migration programs or similar BI transformation initiatives
• Advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard development, visualisation design, and stakeholder-focused reporting
• Strong Tableau expertise with experience managing, enhancing, or migrating reporting environments
• Advanced SQL skills across data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Strong understanding of KPI frameworks, performance measurement, and business reporting
• Excellent data storytelling and insight generation capabilities
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect data insights with business outcomes
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously
