About the role:
You will be working on property acquisitions for major infrastructure projects including integral energy developments. You’ll be responsible for land acquisition and negotiation processes, acting on behalf of buyers and sellers in complex property transactions.

Your work will be focused on:
  • Property purchase and sale before construction starts (land acquisitions)
  • Working with clients in agribusiness, mining, energy, resources, and renewables
  • Negotiating large-scale land deals, with a strong emphasis on acquiring substantial land holdings for resource businesses
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating title transfers, easements, and other related agreements
  • Providing strategic advice on native title, Crown land issues, and other property matters

What you'll bring:
  • Experience in property law or an obvious interest in specialising in this unique practice area
  • Good understanding of the regional NSW energy and resources sector
  • Proven experience running matters from start to finish autonomously
  • Excellent written and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities
  • A passion for property law and an eagerness to contribute to a growing team
