Apply directThe Community Nurse will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the safe and effective delivery of all services in the community. This role is pivotal in leading the business development of this rapidly expanding service. In collaboration with the CNM’s and Senior Management team, you will support and oversee the management of Patient Care across Ireland.
Place of Work: The primary workplace for our staff members is in the patients’ homes Nationally. Each shift begins with the first patient of the day.
Shift Details: All shifts are 12 hours long, inclusive of a 1-hour break. For full-time positions, the staff member will be required to work a 3-to-4-day week.
Responsibilities:
- The staff member will be responsible for administering IV antibiotics in the community. This role requires a high level of expertise and the ability to work independently in the community setting. Training and support will be provided to ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained.
- Work closely with colleagues to foster an integrated team culture, leveraging the diverse skills, experience, and knowledge of team members to maximize the benefits of an integrated approach to service delivery for service users.
- Ensure that the assessment and provision of health care services align with access and eligibility criteria.
- Maintain effective record-keeping practices, including the use of IT systems, in accordance with organizational record-keeping policies.
Skills:
- Qualified Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of practice.
- Experience in delivering services in the community or on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Hold a full Irish driving license
- IT Systems for note taking and recording of end of care reports
Essential Requirements: A driving license is essential for this role. As well as RGN with NMBI.
