Role: Night Support Workers
Post: Full-Time - Permanent (Pro-rata) – 4/ 3 night rotations (8hrs) / 30-hour weekly average
Salary: €36,448 (Pro-rata) per annum
Location: North Dublin/ Finglas Based
The purpose of the job is to ensure the safety and security of the women and children residing in Domestic Abuse Support services for Women and Children, while upholding and representing the organisation’s ethos and values in all aspects of the work.
The role involves, providing practical supports, safety and security in lone working capacity at nights, weekends and bank holidays. Including, operating the 24-hour Refuge Helpline and providing emergency accommodation with emotional and practical supports to women and children experiencing domestic violence.
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years' relevant work experience working in a Social Care Setting
- Knowledge and understanding of Domestic Violence and issues affecting women and children experiencing domestic violence.
Desirable Criteria:
- Third Level Qualification at degree level in social science, social care or related field.
- Liaising with Gardaí, social workers, housing bodies, and health services.
