Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills? Do you enjoy fault finding, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently?

Our client, a well established manufacturing company based in North Cork, is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team. What you will be doing:

  • Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
  • Fault finding on PLC controlled machinery and automated systems.
  • Maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Servicing pumps, including pressure pumps, along with motors, drives, conveyors, compressors, generators, and other production machinery.
  • Diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Technician, Millwright, or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Proven experience fault finding on PLC controlled equipment.
  • Experience working with pumps, pressure pumps, hydraulics, motors, drives, and industrial machinery.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience within manufacturing, heavy plant, steel, transport, quarrying, or other heavy industrial environments would be highly advantageous.
