Our client is seeking an experienced Power Platform Technical Lead to establish and drive their Microsoft Power Platform capability, shaping the future of how technology solutions are designed, governed, and delivered across the organisation.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly influential role where you'll combine strategic architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on development to deliver secure, scalable, and business-critical solutions.

What You'll Be Doing 

• Lead the design and architecture of Power Platform solutions across the business.
• Define engineering standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide developers through solution design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.
• Establish and manage Power Platform environments, security controls, and governance processes.
• Drive CI/CD, testing, deployment, and application lifecycle management practices.
• Design secure integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, data, innovation, and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to recruitment and capability development within the Power Platform team.

What We're Looking For 

• 7+ years' experience in software development, application development, or solution engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles including source control, testing, deployment, and maintainability.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications, APIs, and external systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Microsoft certifications in Power Platform Development, Functional Consulting, Solution Architecture, or related disciplines.

Highly Regarded Experience 

• AI-enabled Power Platform solutions
• C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, or React
• Azure Functions, custom connectors, and API development
• Azure DevOps or GitHub-based CI/CD implementations
• Power Platform testing frameworks and automated testing practices
