Shifts: 6am-230 PM and 2:00 pm-10:30 pm or 10PM-630am. Must be flexible with up to 16 hours shifts if needed. Rotational Pattern with every other weekends off. Preferably local nurses.

Pay:
$1,000 Sign on Bonus
Local:
• $44/hr
Travel (50+ miles):
• W2: $20/hr
• Stipends (non-taxed): 1045$/week
• Blended Rate: $46.13 ($1845/ weekly)

Contract:
• 6-month contract (extension potential)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active TX or compact RN license
  • 6 months of RN experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for patients 
  • Manage psychiatric/medical emergency
  • Complete nursing assessments for new admissions
  • Perform computer data entry 
  • Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies, specifically Joint Commission guidelines, CMS standards, BSH policy and directives HHSC standards, rules and directives
Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice Nursing in Texas as an RN.
  • 1 year, but preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse, mental health experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
