My client is undergoing a significant business transformation following a change in ownership. As part of this transition, they are seeking actuarial professionals to support a range of reporting, valuation and integration activities across the Life & Health business.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme where you will work closely with actuarial, finance and transformation stakeholders, helping to align reporting methodologies, assess financial impacts and implement changes to models and processes. Alongside project work, you will also contribute to ongoing reporting activities and gain exposure to key financial and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the review and implementation of actuarial reporting methodologies and related financial reporting requirements.
- Analyse and document differences between existing and future reporting approaches, highlighting impacts on models, results and processes.
- Perform financial impact assessments and assist with reporting and materiality analysis.
- Contribute to model enhancements, testing, validation and implementation activities.
- Assist with the redesign and optimisation of reporting processes to support future business requirements.
- Support balance sheet analysis, reconciliation activities and results investigations.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly actuarial reporting cycles.
- Assist with regulatory and embedded value reporting developments where required.
- Prepare clear documentation, analysis and audit-ready working papers.
Ideal Background
We're interested in speaking with candidates from a variety of actuarial backgrounds including:

Candidates should ideally have:
- Around 3-8 years of actuarial experience within life insurance or reinsurance.
- Exposure to IFRS 17, valuation, reporting or actuarial modelling activities.
- Experience working with actuarial models such as Prophet, AXIS, RAFM or similar.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of Python, VBA or SQL viewed favourably.
