Site Manager / General Foreman - multi-residential

An established and highly respected Queensland developer builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager or General Foreman to join the team on a major multi-residential development in Hervey Bay.

With a strong reputation built over decades, they deliver high-quality projects across the luxury multi-residential and mixed-use sectors. They are continuing to secure a strong pipeline of work throughout Queensland and looking to expand their team.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.


Key responsibilities:

• Coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
• Driving project programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance
• Conducting site meetings and coordinating project logistics
• Monitoring workmanship and ensuring construction meets design specifications
• Managing site documentation, inspections and reporting requirements
• Working closely with the project delivery team to proactively resolve issues

About You:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, General Foreman or Senior Foreman on multi-residential, commercial or large-scale construction projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate subcontractors and site teams
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site management
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practices
• Relevant construction qualifications and current site certifications
