You'll be working in a modern fabrication environment manufacturing heavy gauge structural steel components while working from detailed engineering drawings.

Our clients are well-established structural steel fabricators delivering projects across commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors throughout Victoria. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add experienced Boilermakers/Fabricators to their workshops.
You'll be working in a modern fabrication environment manufacturing heavy gauge structural steel components while working from detailed engineering drawings.
Your duties will include:
- Fabricating structural steel components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- MIG welding heavy gauge steel
- Marking out, measuring and assembling components
- Operating fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high quality workmanship
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication
- Strong ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
- High quality MIG welding experience
- Experience working with heavy gauge steel
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Reliable transport and full working rights
- Trade qualification (preferred but not essential depending on experience)
- Excellent hourly rates of $50-$55 per hour
- Long-term stable work
- Temp to Permanent opportunity
- Monday-Friday day shift
- Overtime available
