Pre‑Start Consultant - Custom Residential Builder (NOR)

A reputable custom home builder in Perth’s northern suburbs is seeking an experienced Pre‑Start Consultant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding clients through the pre‑construction process while ensuring selections, documentation, and communication run smoothly.

You’ll work closely with clients, estimators, designers, and construction teams to deliver a seamless pre‑start experience. The builder offers modern systems, a supportive culture, and a strong reputation for quality homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing client selections across interiors, exteriors, fixtures, and finishes
• Preparing and finalising pre‑start documentation, variations, and compliance requirements
• Coordinating with estimating, drafting, and construction teams to ensure accuracy
• Providing clear guidance on product options, upgrades, and budgets
• Reviewing plans and specifications with high attention to detail
• Maintaining strong client communication throughout pre‑construction

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Pre‑Start Consultant or similar role in residential building
• Strong product knowledge across materials, finishes, and suppliers
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
• High attention to detail and confidence reviewing plans and variations
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with accuracy
