To Be Considered, You Will Need:

For Registered Nurses:

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience working in an Australian aged care facility (placements are not considered)

For Personal Care Workers:

• Relevant Australian aged care qualification, such as Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
• Previous experience working in an Australian aged care facility (placements are not considered)

For All Applicants:

• 2 COVID-19 vaccinations + booster
• Current Flu vaccination
• Valid Police Check within the last 12 months
• 100 points of ID
• Valid Australian work rights
• Current CPR & First Aid
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

What You Will Be Doing

Registered Nurses:

• Provide high-quality clinical care to residents
• Monitor and document residents' health and wellbeing
• Assist with medication administration
• Monitor nutrition and assist with meal consumption
• Maintain infection prevention and control standards
• Follow a holistic, person-centred model of care
• Assist with resident admissions and transitions
• Liaise with residents, families, doctors and allied health professionals
• Work in accordance with aged care standards and policies

Personal Care Workers:

• Provide personal care and support to residents
• Assist with showering, dressing, grooming and other daily activities
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers
• Support residents with meals and hydration
• Observe and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing
• Promote residents' dignity, independence and choice
• Maintain infection prevention and control procedures
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Provide compassionate, person-centred care at all times
