CNC Machinist / Programmer

Shift:

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM
  • Mandatory Saturdays: 5–6 hours as needed

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join a growing team supporting the automotive industry. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC vertical mills while producing precision components to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate 3-axis CNC vertical mills.
  • Perform precision machining to close tolerances and quality standards.
  • Read blueprints, part drawings, and CAD designs.
  • Perform quality inspections and make machine offsets as needed.
  • Utilize Fanuc and G&M code programming.
  • Operate manual equipment including Bridgeport mills, lathes, and grinders.
  • Run multiple machines when required.

Qualifications

  • Experience programming and operating CNC vertical mills.
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and G&M code.
  • Hands-on experience with manual mills, lathes, and grinders.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform precision inspections.
  • Machine shop or fabrication experience required.
  • Experience with WorkNC CAM, RTM/Lemoine, Fidia, or Heidenhain controls is a plus.
  • 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machining and injection mold machining experience are preferred.
