What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using industry-leading tools and best practices
- Translate business and system requirements into thorough test plans, scenarios, and strategies
- Design, implement, and optimize automation scripts focusing on API and database testing
- Apply BDD principles and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation coverage and effectiveness
- Measure, report, and analyze QA metrics to ensure top-notch quality standards
- 6-9 years of experience in software testing and Quality Engineering
- Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python is a plus)
- Strong expertise in API testing with tools like Rest Assured or Karate
- Solid SQL skills for database validation and testing
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and an understanding of DevOps practices
- Deep knowledge of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Docker, AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Knowledge of mobile testing and service virtualization
- Familiarity with non-functional testing attributes and processes
- 4+ years of software development in test, with hands-on scripting
- Technical expertise in RESTful web services validation and automation scripting
- Experience in cloud testing environments
