Warehouse/Quality Assurance Workers (multiple positions)

About the role 
We are currently seeking 5x Warehouse / Quality Assurance workers to join a busy Distribution Centre team. In this hands-on role, you will provide day-to-day support across warehouse and quality operations, ensuring fruit products meet quality standards and are received, packed and dispatched efficiently. This position offers a rotating roster of either Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday, including afternoon and weekend work as required. Successful candidates must be comfortable working in cold storage environments and performing manual handling duties. 
 
Duties

• Conduct quality control inspections on fruit material to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Perform pre-pack and post-pack quality assurance duties
• Assist with receiving, allocating, labelling and dispatching fruit products
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts where licensed
• Maintain accurate quality and inventory records where required
• Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures
• Support warehouse operations as directed by supervisors and team leaders

 
Skills and Experience

• Availability to work weekday, afternoon and weekend shifts on a rotating roster (Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed)
• Previous warehouse, distribution centre, production or quality assurance experience is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work in cold storage environments
• Physically fit and willing to undertake manual labouring tasks
• Reliable transport and strong punctuality
• Current Forklift Licence highly regarded
